Pancakes have got to be one of the most versatile and yummy breakfasts ever! When made right, you would definetely look forward to pancake mornings Fam!

It is an absolute pleasure to share with you today one of my golden “Eggless pancake recipes” This is one recipe that keeps giving bliss!

As long as you follow my measurement to the T, you are sure to get it absolutely right darlings.

But first let’s give a brief History of Pancake’s origin

History of pancakes

The first recorded history of pancakes dates back to 600BC in ancient Greece and Roman. It has been c historically noted as a working class food, owing to its limited ingredients and short preparation time. Unlike dough for bread which is usually more of flour and requires kneading, pancakes usually has a more liquid batter with a runny consistency.

The pancake’s status as a food of the people stretches back centuries. In the 1750 cookbook Country housewife’s family companion, The author praises pancakes as .one of the cheapest and serviceable family dishes owing to its ingredients which are readily available.

Ingredients

⁃ 2 cups all purpose flour
⁃ 1/2 cup Sugar
⁃ 1 table spoon t baking powder
⁃ 2 table spoons Greek youghurt
⁃ 1/4 cup liquid milk
⁃ i 2 drops vanillaessence
⁃ 11/4 cups of warm water

STEPS

1. In a clean bowl, add in 2 cups of all purpose flour


2. Follow this with half a cup of sugar and combine well


3. Throw in 1/4 cup of liquid milk followed closely by 2 drops of vanilla essence


4. Also throw in your table spoons of greek youghurt


5. Finally pour in 11/4 cups of warm water to seal up the mix and make sure all the ingredients are well incorporated into the mix


6. In a clean frying pan, pour in one teaspoon of oil and with a scooping spoon, add in your pancake mix


7. Flip to brown the other side once you start to notice the tiny bubbles


8. Serve warm with some greek youghurt and fruits of choice.
