Now, another reason I feel that any one might sleep on the Regular banana bread recipe is perhaps because they need a healthier version of this yummy goodness! Not to worry I got you dear. I present to you a healthier version of the renowned Banana bread loaf ; The oat meal Banana bread.
It is just as yummy, healthier and even more filling than its regular counterpart. I could never sleep on sharing this amazing recipe with you fam.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 to 4 bananas
- 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour
- 1 cup of oat flour
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/3 cup of melted unsalted butter
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbs flax seed
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- Vanilla extract
STEPS
- Mash your bananas in a bowl
- Break 2 eggs into same bowl, and pour in your brown sugar
- Also add your melted butter to the party
- Pour in your milk and some vanilla extract
- In another bowl, add your whole wheat flour, oat flour, baking soda and baking powder and mix together
- Introduce your mashed banana mix to the flour and combine all your ingredients.
- Prep your baking pan with some butter and flour before pouring in the mix to avoid your bread sticking to the pan.
- Spread your chia seed over the batter
- Bake in an oven for 45 mins
- Your oat meal Banana bread is ready fam
