A sandwich recipe to make your taste buds soar in appreciation 


Ingredients

Ingredients for protein spice mix 

  • 2 tbsp greek youghurt to help soften your protein even more
  • Paprika pepper (1 tbsp)
  • Cayenne pepper (1 tbsp)
  • Suya pepper (1 tbsp)
  • Garlic powder (1/2 tsp)
  • Ketch up (2 tbsp)
  • White pepper (1 tbsp)
  • Boulllion cubes (1/2 one cube)

Ingredients for Sandwich 

  • 9 Slices of  bread
  • 1kg Protein of choice {chicken or turkey, nicely roasted}
  • 2 Boiled eggs
  • Lettuce ( 2 wraps sheets)
  • Cabbage (100g)
  • Carrots (100g)
  • Mayonnaise (4 tbsp)
  • Raisins {optional}

Instructions

  1. Start by shredding your Cabbage and carrots nicely, Add in a little mayonnaise and mix together before setting aside.
  2. Boil your eggs and with an egg slicer, slice into ring shapes and set aside.
  3. Shred your protein of choice and prepare for layering
  4. Get your bread and add some mayonnaise first, followed by your lettuce sheet
  5. Go in with your protein of choice, and your cabbage/Carrot mix
  6. Add another bread with another layer of egg rings and protein of choice and sprinkle some raisins. Then cover with another bread slice. 
  7. Toast both ends of the bread that kiss the toaster lightly with a panini maker or eat without toasting
  8. Your yummy sandwich is ready for consumption!
